This 4-day private tour moves from Marrakech’s medina to the Agafay desert and onward to the Atlantic coast at Essaouira — three completely different Moroccan landscapes covered in a single seamless itinerary, with private transfers, riad accommodation, a rooftop dinner in Marrakech, a desert dinner with camel ride in the Agafay, and a guided city tour of Essaouira all included from 790€ per person.
Every element of this tour is private. Your group travels together in your own vehicle with your licensed Atlas Wings driver. There are no shared coaches, no fixed group schedules, and no strangers joining your experience. From airport pickup on Day 1 to airport drop-off on Day 4, the entire journey is arranged and managed for you.
Marrakech opens the tour with an optional visit to the Jardin Majorelle on arrival day — one of the most iconic gardens in Morocco, created by the French painter Jacques Majorelle and later restored by Yves Saint Laurent. Day 2 deepens the Marrakech experience with a certified guide-led half-day tour of the city’s monuments and medina, before the evening transfers you to the Agafay desert for dinner at La Bohème and a camel ride across the plateau at sunset.
Day 3 takes a completely different direction — west toward the Atlantic. The drive to Essaouira passes through an argan oil cooperative, where you see traditional oil extraction demonstrated by local women. Essaouira itself is one of Morocco’s most distinctive cities: a UNESCO-listed blue-and-white medina, a working Atlantic fishing harbour, and a wind-swept ocean beach. A certified local guide accompanies your exploration of the city. You stay overnight in Essaouira before a private transfer returns you to Marrakech airport on Day 4.
This tour works well for couples, families, and small groups who want a structured multi-day Moroccan experience without the complexity of planning each element independently.
This private 4-day tour starts from 790€ per person — confirmed price provided at booking based on group size and accommodation choice.

Your Atlas Wings driver meets you in the arrivals hall with a name board. No searching, no negotiating — direct transfer to your riad or hotel in the medina. If your flight lands early enough, Day 1 begins with a visit to the Jardin Majorelle before check-in. Entry is included. The garden was painted vivid cobalt blue by the French artist Jacques Majorelle in the 1920s, acquired and restored by Yves Saint Laurent, and remains one of the most photographed sites in Marrakech. Allow 45–60 minutes. After check-in at your riad, the evening is yours until dinner.
Dinner is served on the rooftop terrace at Safran, one of Marrakech's most atmospheric rooftop restaurants, with views across the medina rooftops and the Koutoubia minaret. The set menu is included in your tour price. Drinks and alcohol are available and charged separately on the evening. After dinner, the medina is at your doorstep — an evening walk through the Djemaa el-Fna night market is the natural end to Day 1.
A certified local guide collects you from your riad for a half-day tour of Marrakech's key monuments and medina neighborhoods. The itinerary covers the Koutoubia Mosque (exterior), the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, the medina souks, and a walk through the Mellah (Jewish quarter). Your guide provides historical and cultural context throughout — architecture, dynasty history, Amazigh culture, and the living rhythms of the medina. The tour lasts approximately 3–4 hours. Afternoon free at your riad before the Agafay departure.
Late afternoon transfer to the Agafay desert, approximately 35 km from Marrakech. On arrival at La Bohème, the camel ride begins at golden hour — the light across the Agafay plateau at sunset with the High Atlas Mountains on the horizon is one of the most memorable moments of the tour. After the camel trek, dinner is served at La Bohème — a beautifully designed desert camp with open-sky dining, traditional Moroccan cuisine, and a candle-lit desert atmosphere. Return to your Marrakech riad after dinner.
Morning pickup from your riad. The route west to Essaouira crosses the Jbilet plains and passes through the argan forest belt — one of the few regions in the world where argan trees grow. A stop at a women's argan cooperative lets you see the traditional extraction process: cracking the hard argan nut by hand, grinding the kernels on stone mills, and pressing the oil. The cooperative is genuine — a registered women's organization, not a commission shop. No purchase pressure. Cold-pressed argan oil available to buy directly at fair prices if you wish.
Essaouira is a complete contrast to Marrakech — cooler, quieter, and built on the Atlantic wind. Your certified local guide leads a walking tour of the UNESCO-listed medina: the Portuguese-built sea ramparts and canon line at Skala de la Ville, the working fishing harbour, Place Moulay Hassan, the thuya wood artisan workshops along Rue Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdallah, and the blue-washed alleyways of the medina interior. The tour lasts approximately 2–3 hours. Free time follows — the Atlantic beach is a 10-minute walk from the medina entrance. Overnight in your Essaouira riad or hotel.
Morning pickup from your Essaouira accommodation. Private transfer back to Marrakech Menara Airport (RAK) — approximately 2.5 hours. We recommend advising us of your flight time at booking so departure from Essaouira is planned correctly. Drop-off at the airport departures terminal. End of tour.
The 790€ per person price includes all private transfers across all 4 days, 3 nights of riad or hotel accommodation in Marrakech (2 nights) and Essaouira (1 night), Jardin Majorelle entry, the certified guide half-day Marrakech city tour, the rooftop dinner set menu at Safran Marrakech, the Agafay desert dinner at La Bohème, the Agafay camel ride, the argan cooperative stop, and the certified guide Essaouira city tour. Lunches, drinks, alcohol, and personal extras are not included. The final price is confirmed at booking based on your group size.
Yes — completely private. This is not a group tour or shared itinerary. Your group travels in your own private vehicle with your dedicated Atlas Wings driver throughout all 4 days. No other travelers join at any point. The certified guides on Days 2 and 3 are also exclusively for your group.
Accommodation is in riads or hotels in both Marrakech and Essaouira. The specific property is confirmed at booking based on your group size, travel dates, and preferences. If you have a preferred riad or hotel already booked, contact us — we can adjust the tour to use your existing accommodation and adjust the price accordingly.
The Jardin Majorelle is included subject to your flight arrival time. If your flight arrives in the afternoon or evening, the garden visit is typically not possible on Day 1 — in which case we can arrange an alternative visit on Day 2 morning and adjust the certified guide tour to the afternoon. We plan Day 1 around your actual arrival time, confirmed at booking.
La Bohème is one of the most atmospheric dining venues in the Agafay desert — an open-sky desert camp with traditional Moroccan architecture, lanterns, and a full dinner menu. It sits on the rocky Agafay plateau with High Atlas Mountain views. The dinner includes traditional Moroccan courses. It is one of the most praised experiences on this itinerary by guests who have done the tour.
Yes. Additional nights in Marrakech before Day 1, in Essaouira after Day 3, or a stop in another destination can be added. Contact us via WhatsApp +212 600 316 681 or email [email protected] to discuss a custom itinerary extension.
Yes. The itinerary is well suited to families. The Majorelle garden, Marrakech city tour, camel ride, and Essaouira beach are all popular with children and families. The Agafay dinner works well for older children and teenagers. Please advise us of children's ages at booking so we can advise on any specific considerations.
Free cancellation up to 15 days before your departure date. Cancellations within 15 days of departure are subject to our standard cancellation conditions — confirmed at booking. To cancel or modify, contact us via WhatsApp +212 600 316 681 or email [email protected].
Yes — winter (December to February) is one of the most rewarding seasons for this itinerary. Marrakech is cool and manageable rather than hot. The Agafay desert evenings are cold — bring a warm layer for the camel ride and dinner — but the clarity of the night sky in winter is exceptional. Essaouira is windier in winter, which is part of its character — pack a windproof jacket. The argan cooperative and all city tours operate year-round. Crowds are significantly lower in winter, making the medinas of both Marrakech and Essaouira more pleasurable to explore.
